Balloon collects and processes the following information about children and family members who use the Balloon app:

      1. Name, gender, age, DOB, and contact information, including phone number and e-mail address.

      2. Transaction information about transaction date, and amount.

      3. Profile pictures. 

      4. Family relationship (child/mother/father/grandparent).

Processing of personal information

When you register as a user on the Balloon app, you will need to provide information about yourself and your family members. Balloon handles this data to manage and digitalize the tracking of children's allowances, savings, and expenditures, replacing traditional cash-based methods.

Additionally, the data is utilized to enhance and further develop the functionalities of the Balloon app. Whenever feasible, this information is anonymized.

For minors, data processing relies on the approval from their parents or legal guardians.The authorization to process data for family members linked to a child's account is obtained when they set up their user profile. This consent can be revoked at any time by removing your user profile from the Balloon app.

Storage of the user information and data security measures

The user’s information will only be kept within the time period as required by the related laws and internal policies.

Balloon shall keep the user’s information secured to protect the rights of the user. Only authorized staff or third party data processor or service provider hired by Balloon can access or process related information.

During storing, using and / or transferring the user’s information, Balloon shall take reasonable protective measures to prevent the unauthorized / accidental access, disclosure, edit and / or damage of the information. Although Balloon adopts all reasonable and feasible programs or security measures to protect the user’s information, there is no absolute safe method in sending and storing information on the internet. user shall note that the internet is not a secure way of communication. There are risks of sending and receiving information on the internet, including the risks of hacking and intervention. Balloon shall not bear the responsibility of confidentiality, safety and completeness of user’s personal information through internet transmission. Balloon cannot guarantee the safety of personal information provided through online sources. Except where there is proof showing the negligence of Balloon, Balloon shall not bear any responsibility and obligation.

When does Balloon delete your information?

Balloon will delete your information when and if you request it. In addition, Balloon will delete your information if you delete your account in Balloon.
